L. Danielle “Danie” Roberts-Dahm, Ph.D. is the Co-Director for Project 10: Transition Education Network, a state technical assistance project focused on secondary transition of students with disabilities in Florida. She was also a partner with the Florida Consortium on Inclusive Higher Education, where she provides technical assistance and support to develop and/or expand inclusive postsecondary programs throughout Florida. Danie is currently developing and launching a new inclusive postsecondary program, called UMatter, at the University of South Florida St. Petersburg campus. Through these organizations, Danie and her colleagues collaborate to build capacity of best practice implementation to facilitate a positive secondary transition experience and inclusive college opportunities for students with disabilities across Florida. Her experiences preparing students with diverse abilities to transition from high school to college, career and life ready inspired her to pursue a Ph.D. focused on special education, educational leadership and policy studies.
